We don’t normally post things about other companies, however it’s time this stops happening to so many people, this boiler has been “serviced” (by “service we mean poke it with an analyser 🙄), by a big energy company for the last 6 years, today we was asked to install a new gas cooker and service the boiler, you can see in the images this boiler doesn’t look like it’s been serviced for years !, we have replaced the electrodes cleaned the heat exchanger and condensate trap (one of the worst we have ever seen) recharged the expansion vessel. We got to the boiler just in time to save it.

Thinking about replacing your boiler before the colder weather ? Examples of our boiler installations, why settle for anything less than the best ?

Only use a Gas Safe registered engineer to fit, fix and service your appliances. You can find and check an engineer at GasSafeRegister.co.uk (check out our graphic below) or call 0800 408 5500. Check both sides of your engineer’s Gas Safe Register ID card. Make sure they are qualified for the work you need doing. You can find this information on the back of the card. Have all your gas appliances regularly serviced and safety checked every year. If you rent your home ask for a copy of the landlord’s current Gas Safety Record. Know the six signs of carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning – headaches, dizziness, breathlessness, nausea, collapse and loss of consciousness. Unsafe gas appliances can put you at risk of CO poisoning, gas leaks, fires and explosions. Fit an audible carbon monoxide alarm. This will alert you if there is carbon monoxide in your home.

We first started installing Viessmann boilers over 8 years ago, due to there great build quality, we told everyone this was a great boiler, looks like others are now finding out this as well. Which ? Best Buy for the second consecutive year 👌

We got called out to repair a leaking boiler, these images highlight the importance of regular servicing. We managed to repair and service this boiler within 3 hours, and have now set this up to be attended every year for a full service, this will ensure it doesn’t end up like this again.

Our latest Viessmann 111 (Combi storage) this boiler is suitable for multi bathroom properties , we remove the old system including the cold water storage tanks, boarded the floor and back wall, to allow us to install the new system, this boiler is working on a weather compensated controller with s nest thermostat to maximise efficiency and home comfort. #Getthejobdoneproperly We also installed a surge protector 👌

Next time you are looking to replace your boiler you probably won’t even consider how the heat exchanger is made, but here’s why we would recommend Stainless Steel. Heat Exchangers: Stainless Steel v’s Aluminium STAINLESS STEEL HEAT EXCHANGERS: Used by Viessmann throughout its entire condensing boiler range, stainless steel heat exchangers provide a high resistance to corrosion in a wide variety of pH levels, therefore increasing the useful life of your boiler. This provides long term value for money and requires less system downtime due to maintenance. Important points to consider: Increases useful life of your boiler. Less downtime due to maintenance. Does not require use of system inhibitors. Self-cleaning Higher grade corrosion resistant material ALUMINIUM HEAT EXCHANGERS: A lightweight and alternative option, Aluminium heat exchangers also provide high heat transfer but require special inhibitors when maintaining the system, which if not used can result in a high risk of damage to the boiler. Annual maintenance is also vital to remove aluminium oxides, which can build up and clog the condensate line. Important points to consider: PH treatment critical to longevity of the heat exchanger. Artificially softened water not permitted. Aluminium material corrodes through aluminium oxide build up and erodes further at high flow rates. Reduced lifetime of the heat exchanger. Cheaper to manufacture than stainless steel.
